Days 4 & 5

Day Cuatro: 

I know it seems so little & maybe kind of dumb, but coffee, on MANY occasions, has brought me a lot of joy. A nice, little pick me up when I need a jolt or a little warmth on a cool day... coffee has seen me through some times. Lol. Maybe coffee shouldn't bring me as much joy as it does... Oh well!

Random fact about coffee (didn't know this would be educational as well... huh?): Coffee beans are actually the pit of a red, coffee berry. (Festive, no?) Who knew that coffee came from a fruit? I didn't!

PS If you have any favorite coffee brands, let me know! I just found one a target that is chocolate truffle flavored... yummo!



Day Cinco:

Happy people bring me joy!

I love being around people with positive energy... laughing, smiling & generally enjoying life. You never appreciate those types of people until you meet someone that is the opposite way... complaining and perpetually in a bad mood. {I know we all have our days & that is quite alright.}

I strive to be one of those people that is happy 99% of the time. It's hard, but I know that I gravitate toward those folks & I want people to feel the same about me. As I write this, my mom is hysterically laughing in the next room...What about? I have no clue! {She is a little coocoo! Lol} But to hear people enjoying themselves like that and to somehow be a part of it, is a inexplicable.

I pray constantly that people will see the light of God in me... That with my actions and my attitude, people will see that I'm a follower of Christ. I fail at that every day, but still pray and strive for that light to shine. The happiness that comes through Christ and that is shared through each other is a gift like no other.... that is the joy I speak of!
