I'm bored & it's super rainy & dreary today here in GA... so I thought I'd blog. I usually don't like rainy days. Rain messes with my body chemistry or something. But for some reason, it's oddly peaceful and relaxing today. It's almost like a much needed cleanse or something.
Anyway, yes, I moved to GA for my new job! I now work for a small, private probation company, helping to expand their business throughout the Southeast. It's something I never even considered doing or even really knew was a viable option for a career... but I really, really like it so far. It combines 2 of my interests - law and small business. I'm a nerd, I know. I did grow up in one of the top 5 nerdiest cities in America - so, it was inevitable, really.
I moved to a great, little, deep south city that is about half the size (maybe even smaller) than my hometown. Luckily, Auburn was even smaller, so I'm used to it. It is going to take some minor adjusting though. There is absolutely nothing here... comparatively that is. I really like the area though. It's a good combination of Huntsville & Auburn.... so, it should be good. & if nothing else, I'm close to Jacksonville :) - which means family & LOTS of retail therapy!
I just wanted to give an update. My life isn't very interesting - as usual, but that's fine with me!
Also, I thought I'd share a couple crafty things I made to keep me busy over the holidays...
