"It was the best of times, it was the worst of times” –
cliché, I know. In all honesty, that famous A
Tale of Two Cities quote really does describe the past year of my life PERFECTLY.
It has been a seriously crazy ride. So, here we comes the instant replay… Started off the year strong
– Auburn won the National Championship. Even better, I was there to witness it.
No doubt, one of the best moments of my life! Seriously, it will probably be
right up there with getting married & poppin’ out some chillins. Haha. Well,
I don’t know about that, but it was pretty darn amazing! Next, the continuation
of my last semester of college… bittersweet. It was full of fun, laughs, good
times (that isn’t supposed to sound like ‘Big Spender’ btw), lots of hard work,
probably even more procrastination (others can probably attest to that more
than I can – haha), lots & lots of dance rehearsals, travelling, & so
much more. And in the midst of all of that craziness, I fell head over heels
for someone. Then I graduated from college (scary). & it was hot as Hades
that day! Seriously, the devil was getting some sick pleasure out of our misery
in that hot sun! But it was worth it because we graduated on Pat Dye Field in
Jordan-Hare Stadium… & not a whole lot of people can say that! Following that, I
had a wonderful summer and then …not so joyfully, had to move back home. Then
we reach the past 5 months… Let’s just say, they’ve been rocky & nothing
less than interesting. So, it’s been a rollercoaster of a year… half of which I
would live again in a second! The other half – I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy
(not even an Alabama fan)!
How am I going to close out my 2011? Watching my tigers play in ATL! Seems appropriate, doesn’t it? Start & finish the year out the same way… with some Auburn football.

So, what am I looking forward to in 2012? Listening to
(& getting really tired of) a lot of crazy presidential candidates, the
SUMMER OLYMPICS (my fav), a bunch of adventures, fun stories, wonderful memories & hopefully,
lots & lots of happy, happy, happy times!
With that being said, I hope everyone has a wonderful new
year. I hope everyone’s hopes, dreams & goals are met & surpassed! And most
importantly, I hope your year is filled with happiness & love.
Happy New Year & War Eagle!
